The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 太美好的歌舞剧了 只字不提911 奇妙的视角刻画了每一个人
我以为911题材会很沉重，但很积极很快乐啊，有细节有思考，转换很流畅，女机长太帅了。人与人之间的善意好治愈。
这才是音乐剧，有好故事有好音乐有好表演，开大巴的那段动作非常逼真。

原来这是电影啊...音乐剧百老汇版的官摄，看着很欢乐，也没有刻意渲染悲情，有些感动
与《我们的小镇》有同种韵味。二十至三十分钟些许有重复和疲乏，为全剧唯一败笔。节奏接近顶级。总体接近完美，未来必将成为经典，不断流传。不过内容应该继续拓展
紧凑的编排让观众游走于焦虑，亢奋和崩溃的状态之间。
