故事很简单，也不太吸引人，东木老爷明显老了，90岁了，太厉害了
从没见过这样慈祥的东木。墨西哥小镇让我想起了西部执法者里的乌托邦庄园。
本该是他最擅长的西部公路片，但节奏很缓慢，并不出彩。东木老爷子的确是老了，老到驯服野马只能使用远景替身+本人上身近景的方式呈现，就连说台词和走路都有一种无力感。
结局很像东木为自己电影生涯画上的句点，一个美妙到刻板、不真实的墨西哥童话故事。
东木这次做了一回梦想家，但是“I can not cure old”。
后半部分好一些。
片子非常一般，但是东木主演的电影已经形成一个特定人物和他的故事，我愿意像追连续剧一样一直看下去。

有点儿老年版完美的世界的意思 老年的更平和更温暖 也更自恋 经得起诱惑 把的住情感 既有牛仔的骄傲 也有迟暮的姿态 虽然整体上是拉夸了点 但东木还是很迷人的 那种老牛仔的气息
90岁了还能执导和主演，这可能是他告别影坛之作了。作为东木爷爷的影迷，为此也要做出有温度的评论。
一个少年的回家之路，也是一个老头的释怀之路。少年与父亲和解，老头与过去和解。选景、用光已臻化境。伊斯特伍德老爷子的电影我看了半辈子，少时如烈酒，痛快而上头；暮年如清茶，隽永而悠长。垂垂老矣依然孜孜不倦追求自己热爱的事业，我们年轻人还有什么偷懒懈怠的借口？只是，老爷子的电影，真的看一部少一部了。。。
活化石拍电影，虽然是旧瓶装旧酒，但抛弃了过高的期待，总体还是在好看的一边。希望可以看到“惊！百岁老人自导自演”。
